I wish they had left it in. The ban called for a ban on "military-style" weapons and magazines over 10 rounds. The bill was going to be as equally stupid and useless as the last assault weapons ban, but at least the liberals would have had a reason to run around patting each other on the back and telling each other what a good job they did.

All I wanted was Military weapons unavailable for purchase by civilians, and anyone with a criminal record unable to own get a permit or even purchase a gun. That is not a weapons ban, it's not even close to a weapons ban.
In my case you can substitute the word Liberal for Common Sense Human Being. You live in the USA, you have no idea what real Liberal is, you really don't. People aren't allowed to be Liberal in the USA. It's laughable how un-Liberal this country is.

Thanks for the trivia Jay. I don't think society really gives a damn about the one bullet crazed gunmen out there killing themselves. It's the innocent lives that concern people. Have another point to make?

So, are the neo-cons still going to say that Obama is King because he always gets his ways?
Or that this country is slowly falling into a communist regime or any of their other insanely stupid conspiracies?!
I knew this wouldn't happen.
At this point we are back to square one and I really don't care about this issue anymore.
This country has a terrible "culture of guns"....they refuse to accept it or even acknowledge it, and 10,000+ people will continue to die per year in this country as a result of gun violence.
Oh well....who cares....the GOP doesn't care, congress doesn't care, neither do I.
