Hockey Forum Regulars, show & tell: YOU!
Always like to put a face with a name and thought this would be fun. Let's see some of our members.
I'll start, so here is your resident Rob Blake and (one of many) die-hard Kings fan.
EDIT: Added a recent picture of me and Austin, your resident Kopitar fan!Last edited by Prime B; 09-14-2011 at 10:02 AM. Reason: New photo

Barrie, if I ever go down to Colorado, could I get a ride on the firetruck?
Here is me:

I'm no Wings fan by any means, but Mr.Howe told me to put the jersey on.

Looking for a decent shot.... here's the best I could come up with in 30 seconds:
That's me standing in front for Coors Field, in Denver.
(If you want another pic, look at my avatar. I'm right behind MacT!)

Haha Sean, in my town! I cannot tell you how many times I crossed that street to the LoDo bars with all my buddies back in the day!
When was that?
Cool stuff so far folks, keep it coming.

LOL, if I am not stuck on a rescue unit. I am actually not doing the firefighting thing right now, on a little hiatus and am currently attending paramedic school. It's pretty tough, 3 days of class a week and TONS of clinical rotations in the hospital and field which is like another job in itself! Overall though I am learning tons, it is fun and will help me achieve my current career aspiration of being a fire medic.
At my old fire department I would likely be on a rescue unit (ambulance) but some departments have private ambulance companies they use for transports so then I'd be on an engine or truck all the time.
So it all depends which fire department I end up with after paramedic school is done.
Oh sure, I guess we could arrange the fire engine ride either way.Last edited by Prime B; 12-13-2009 at 05:49 PM. Reason: poor grammar, shame on me!

August of 2007. Me and two friends did pretty much the best baseball roadtrip we could have pulled off. Got to MLB games in Chicago (Cubs), Minnesota, Denver, Kansas City (two against the Jays!), and St. Louis. Plus Minor Leauge games in Lansing (Jays 'A' team) and Omaha (Royals 'AAA').
Did all that in 9 days :) I think the Rockies game was day #5. We were up @ 7:00 AM in Kearny, NE.... running on about 5 1/2 hours of sleep (that's where we stopped for the night, after catching the game in Omaha)..... and then had the 1:00 PM game in Denver that day.
It was a great time. Wish we'd had a chance to spend more time in Denver (did a brewery tour the next morning, and then drove 1000 KM to KC).

Very cool. Well if you ever make it back, LMK, downtown Denevr is an absolute blast to hang out in.
Denver is really a hidden gem of a city, I feel VERY blessed to live here.

If I'm ever back.... I'll let you know, for sure.
I almost went back last summer. Was trying to plan a trip, but things just never really got off the ground. Maybe next year?
Didn't get to see much of it, but I'd agree based on what little I did see. It's a beauty of a city.
