Does this 2008 Topps Sterling Babe Ruth bat barrel look right

Just came across this on Ebay and it just looks too homemade to me.No frills and the jersey pieces don't look like any jersey I have ever come across. The printing looks copied and not sharp like a Sterling card would.Theres also no boarder around the bat barrel and that also looks hand cut. What's your opinion?

It looks right except for the jersey pieces. Kinda looks too new for a Babe Ruth jersey. It doesn't look like any Yankees jersey but could it be from a manager jersey or something like that?

The more I look at it the more I am convinced it's not legit. Not to mention it's complete lack of any boarder around the game used or the barrel.I think the fact that no one has seen one before gives the creator an edge.

Why don't you look at the 08 checklist and see if they even made that card. If they did, then I would ask Topps about it on Twitter. They are usually fairly decent about looking at that stuff.

I figured it would make a good topic here, not much for twitter at all.Yes,the card is listed but that's not a big help.

Well after a little more searching I guess it is legit here's the you tube link from the same person whos selling it on Ebay now.To be honest the very simple design threw me off along with brite white jersey pieces.I would have thought for such an amazing bat barrel the design would have matched it.

Almost look like some of the white jersey pieces they have on Topps Sterling products for Honus Wagner or something
