Texas Stars? Is he still Dallas property??

NO, he's in Italy!!! The Serie A league, for Hockey Milano Rossoblu...................

Oh, no! I was about to reply the same thing and you beat me to it, Ed! Oh, well... I guess you can say he was a bust, especially considering the fact that 2003-04 was actually a stunning rookie year including Eric Staal, Patrice Bergeron, Marc-Andre Fleury, Alexander Semin and Ryan Kesler.

I remember reading an article on IIHF's website about Raycroft playing in Italy, and I was like: "No! Why couldn't he have come to Denmark?" We have a much better league here, but I guess Italy sounds like a great place to play if you're into sunny beaches and history other than just hockey.

I'm not sure if there's already been such contests, but I think a "Best European Card" or "Best Mask Card" would be awesome. A "Best Custom Card" would be sweet, too! How about all of them combined, eh? Haha.

My choice because the trophy subset in 1974-75 O-Pee-Chee is awesome, to bad this particular card of mine is not in better shape.

Digging through the Sedin PC, here's the best Calder trophy winner card I could find... Dominion Crazy Eights Swedish Patches #5/5

Features a couple Calder winners: Alfredsson and Landeskog

Also a couple of Calder runner-ups: Lidstrom (runner-up to Bure) and Zetterberg (runner-up to Jackman)

Not to mention Lundqvist (was the goalie on the All-Rookie Team, never really had a chance for the Calder with Crosby, Ovechkin, and Phaenuf in the same year) and Loui Eriksson who while he may not have won NHL hardware at least won the Swedish Elite League Rookie of the year, does that count as a Swedish Calder? :o)

Oh yeah, and a couple guys named Sedin who've won a couple Ross', Hart and a Lindsay.

Bure was pretty amazing back then so cannot argue that one but who voted for Jackman over Zetterberg?
