    That's not the point.

I've already explained through various examples of how it has failed as a guide.

And none of us can even agree on the basics!

Is hell a place of torment or a separation from god?

Is Jesus god or the son of god and a totally different person from Yahweh?

Was Jesus born of a virgin? (Only 2 of the 4 gospels say this!)

Didn't Jesus say his return would be in the lifetime of the apostles?

These are simple questions that should be YES or NO, but that's not what we're getting.

Let me get another book and easily answer questions from it.....Harry Potter.

Did Harry Potter's family die? YES

Was Harry Potter a Wizard? YES

Was Hogwarts a school for magic? YES

Was Voldemort a good guy? NO

You see how easy that is.....you see how the bible doesn't do the same?

Im beginning to think hell is where you live and only scientific data and perfect logic in its simplest terms hold any value.

I live in the real world where things make sense because we apply laws and logic to them.

I'm sorry if I refuse to accept a book which is inconsistent and breaks every law known.

The bible wasn't the first book written about a god or gods.....why have humans dismissed Zeus and Horus as the true god but continue to believe in Yahweh?

The mythology of Horus for example is very similar to Jesus.....don't believe me, here, look for yourself:

What does that have anything to do with what we're talking about?

The best analogy I got when I was growing up was water.

Water can be a solid, gas, and liquid....but it's still water.

Suffice to say, using logical analogies to explain the illogical is....well....illogical.

But I'm glad to see the polling go the way I already knew it was going to go.

Saying that Jesus isn't god is a huge problem in terms of the christian religion.

alex, show me the archaeological finds that prove the story, show me the evidence outside of the story that backs it up, show me the 2 billion people who follow him.

and how is it illogical? could not one person be a father, a son, and a friend?
