Thumbs up Ben Wallace Wins Defensive Player of the Year

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playof...ory?id=1543348

Wallace really did deserve this award. Good job for him.

Was reading the above article and saw this:

"The seven-year NBA veteran, who went undrafted out of Virginia Union in 1996, averaged 6.9 points and helped the Pistons win their second straight Central Division title and earned the top-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs with a record of 50-32."

Didn't know he went undrafted. Looks like a lot of teams missed out on him then.

I could understand why he went undrafted. He's not much of a scorer.

Sure, he's tall. And yes, he's got good wing span. Can leap high, is quick with his feet on defense.

but that describes quite a number of guys in NBA.

Wallace is phenomenal!! Glad to see him playing after that MCL incident. Didn't think he'd be playing so soon in play-offs.
