Football Card Fantasy League

Hey!

I've started a fantasy league for only SCF members. We have 6 commits so far... myself, ensbergcollector, 6boyds, BobSanders021, theNext54 & rllansperger!

If anyone else is interested, here's the deal! The entry would be either one card thats BV is $20 or two cards with a combined BV of $24 or more. I've set one up on yahoo with their standard scoring and a live draft on Tuesday, August 28th at 10 pm Eastern! Let me know if you'd be interested and what card or cards you would be using as entry! Everyone can send them to me and I'll put them in a special box so I don't accidentally trade'em, ha! After the season, The Winner would get most of the cards, there might be a 2nd & 3rd but that will depend on how many teams we get. The way it would work is that you guys will send me your cards, then I'll send you the password just so we make sure and get everyones cards before the season starts!

So, PM me if you want to be in and tell me the card or cards you'd use as entry!

We have 7 commits so far and some good cards too! Pleasantly surprised at the cards that will be available. Probably take 1 or 3 more teams, let me know if you want to join!

hilg0102 & ftballguy32: we could take the both of you to make 12 teams in our league! That will be the cutoff though! Here's how it works... PM me with the card or cards you will use as entry and I will check their BVs just to be all official! I'll then confirm you are in, then you send me the cards, I keep them in a special place with the rest, send you the password & info to join the league!

I think the best way to do the payouts is to have 3 people win something... Third place (consolation game winner) will get their cards back! The winner will get his/her choice of any 2 entrants cards from the 11 lots left, then 2nd place will get a choice of one entrants cards from those left, winner gets 2 more lots, runner up goes again for 1 lot, winner takes 2 more, runner up gets one more, winner gets one more, runner up gets last one! Totalling 7 lots for the winner & 4 for the runner up & third place loses nothing but his/her shipping to get me the card! ;)

If that is confusing... assuming everyone agreed to a ranking of the 11 lots that were left, the winner would get the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th & 10th best, Runner up would get the 3rd, 6th, 9th & 11th. 3rd place gets their cards back!
