LA Kings trade O'Sullivan to Edmonton. Justin Williams going to LA Kings. Carolina picks up Cole, 2nd round pick.

As TSN said, Edmonton traded Pitkanen and Cole for O'Sullivan. A risky move, since O'Sullivan is still young.

My personal opinion, I like it. Both Pitkanen and Cole didn't work in Edmonton. O'Sullivan's still young, and *could* be good?

Perhaps the LA guys could offer more on O'Sullivan..

o'sullivan is skilled and has learned to play d. i think he'll make a good 3rd liner on a quality team and can be a 2nd liner on a lesser team.
he just signed a pretty big contract, so i think that's why the kings moved him.
