What if Iverson played for the New Jersey Nets?

Since a lot of members in this forum think that Iverson is selfish and ruins team chemistry... Here's something to ponder...

What if the Nets signed Iverson? How could he possibly ruin team chemistry on a 0-15 team?

Seriously though, do you think it's a possibility?

He might not ruin the chemistry, but he's not going to be a good mentor for the younger players and might possibly pass on to them some questionable attitude. That said, he can probably carry the team to at least one win. =)

Could work...even was speculated on ESPN yesterday, I believe...but, he wants to start, and play, on a contender...New Jersey won't be a contender anytime soon...

I read an article saying the C's were interested with his service. The only thing was that not everybody was ok with the idea of him playing with the Celtics and there were other issues such as money, whether AI is willing to play the back up role and accomodating him would mean the Celtics would have to cut somebody on the current roster. Ainge said they might consider having him if somebody get's injured. If AI lowers his ego and starts acceptings coming off the bench to play for a contender then he'll probably get signed. As for NJ I don't think it's a good fit again he's not willing to come off the bench plus he wants to play for a contender. If the Nets signs him up he will be vaulting out in a couple of games like what he did in Memphis.
