Had an unexpected surprise find today... was perusing a local antique dealer when I found a Bears Mini-Helmet, still in the box for $8. I picked it up thinking I'd use it at the National coming up. I opened it to clean it up a little and found it had a signature from Jim Flanigan already on it. Pretty cool.

Thanks. I was pretty happy.
It surprised me. What also surprised me is there doesn't seem to be much out there of him. But then again, I might just be looking in the wrong spots!
Two more in the past couple days:
Jim Hickman: Another Cub Alumnus off the list. Returned 4/4 in 9 days via his home.
Mike Hohensee: Oddly enough, a white whale of mine. Glad he's home. He has deep ties to the Chicago area with his stint with the Bears during the strike and with the Rush. Impossible to find great pictures of the Federals of the USFL, but I'm glad he signed them. 2/2 returned in 8 days via the Iowa Barnstormers.

Quit san™™™™gin'. You're killing it even though you are halfway around the world.
Two more recent returns.
Greg Landry: Really wanted him as the Chicago Blitz card for the set, but his Wrangler's pic I found was better. Returned 1/2 customs (K1AO) in 67 days via his home.
Darcy Fast: "The Missing Cub" from the 1969 team that collapsed, Mr. Fast returned 3/4 customs (K1AO) in 9 days via his home.

Couldn't figure out this return when it came in, opened it to a great surprise. I sent Darcy Rota a few customs awhile back with SASE. Received a manilla envelope in the mail back from him, included 3/4 customs (K1AO) and he also included 2 photos... he even paid the return postage from Canada! Class Act! Fourteen days door to door.

I really do like the customs design that you are using. Do you just print yours on photo paper? Congrats on the nice returns.

Thank you. I enjoy making them. I print them on a higher quality photo paper, then back them on card stock.
