Thanks. Yea, the 30 was a little steep, but I gladly paid it. Well worth it.
Had a great day with three returns.
Hy Cohen: One of the oldest Cubs that I needed, he pitched one year with the Cubs, in 1955, IIRC. He returned 3/4 (K1AO) in 8 days.
Don Kessinger: The 6X all star returned 4/4 customs in 18 days via his business. He was another of my white elephants. Glad to have him home.
Joe Campbell: His career stat line is Moonlight Grahamish... 1 game, 3 AB, 3 K's. Never made the show again. He returned 3/4 customs in 8 days via his home, K1AO.

Kessinger was another one of my white elephants. Glad I got him.
One more in today. Jack Warner, who pitched with the Cubs for four seasons, returned 3/4 customs in 12 days.

Dude, you can't be missing too many of those great Cubs players. Your collection is something to be proud of!

Thanks for the kind words.
If my research is accurate, I'm missing signatures from 26 living alumni that played for the Cubs between 1948-1964.
Of the ones I'm missing:
14: I have sent to with no response back.
2: I haven't made the cards, I can't find suitable (or any) pictures in Cubs uniform.
1: RTS'd.
6: I have made, but have yet to send out.
2: I know they don't sign TTM, so I must wait for a private signing.
1: Isn't signing due to health reasons, won't be able to get him.
What's cool is I've done it all TTM.
I never really expected to do an alumni set, but it's become a great addiction. I can probably pick up some of the others at private signings, too.

Have you gotten Jim Willis? That's one of the few lingering cards from my '54 Archives set that I haven't sent out because I've never seen a success since I've been collecting haha. Is he one of the 26?

Yup, Willis is 1 of the 26. I sent him one, never heard back.

This one took awhile, but I'm glad it came home. 30 days round trip from Mr. Bucky Dent. He returned 3/4 (K1AO) via his business in Florida. I sent a $15 donation.
