Well, it’s just about time to begin the 2010 Playoffs and with that comes the annual SCF Playoff Contest.

This year is a little different then last year’s contest, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

Prizes will be posted soon:

1st Place ) 09/10 UD Series 2 Hobby Box + 10pts towards the Quad Race

2nd Place ) Prize to be determined+ 8pts towards the Quad Race

3rd Place ) Prize to be determined + 6pts towards the Quad race

4th Place ) 500 CC + 4pts towards the Quad Race

5th Place ) 250 CC + 3pts towards the Quad race

6th Place ) 2pts towards the Quad race

7th Place ) 1pt towards the Quad race



So as you can see with the Quad Race being fairly tight, there is A LOT to play for here. If you haven't Dug the Quad contest yet, please do so


Here are your Contest Rules:


1) Please choose 18 players
(10 Forwards, 6 Defense men and 2 Goalies)
(Point system below)

2) No more then two players from any team

3) Complete 3 Trades or Sales over the duration of the contest
(Must be posted in this thread as usual)

4) Any infractions or Negatives received during this contest
will result in an automatic DQ from this contest

5) Entrant with the most points at the end of the Playoffs is the winner

6) For tie breaks we will use your goalie with highest save %
(Min.3 Games played) Highest Save % wins.

7) If that doesn't solve the tie, we will use Random.org.

8) Picks must be in by no later then 9:00am ET, April 14th, 2010.

9) No Trades will be allowed for this contest.

As far as Quad points are concerned there will be no tie breaker. Should there be a tie for first, both entrants will receive 10pts for the Quad race and there will be no second place points awarded…..this will work for all positions should there be ties. IE – If 3 people tie for 4th they would all receive 4pts and there would be no 5th and 6th place points awarded. CC will be split amongst the entrants tied.

As usual, Staff will be allowed to play and receive prizes, they just won't be able to collect any Quad points.

Point System:

Goals and assists = 1pt
Game Winning Goals = 2pts
Goalie Win = 1pt
Goalie Shutout = 2pts

Fairly straight forward.

If you would like play, just post in this thread and make sure you have your picks in by the deadline.

Please send me your picks (along with your email addy <---very Important) either by PM or email ([email protected]) and I will enter them in to the site. From there we all just sit back and wait to see which team hoists The Cup this year and which one of you will be our winner.
