    Can anyone give me any info on Gem Grading Inc.? is it a reputable grading company?

    They are not reputable. I would advise to stay away.

    UH OH, i bought a 1991 stadium club brett favre,spelled farve on the card, for $33 that was graded 10 by gem grading inc. was that a bad purchase? im new to the card trading scene but die hard packers and favre fan.

    I think that you should stick with PSA, BGS and SGC as a general rule. They are all accepted as quality grading companies.

    Blogroll is right those 3 companys are the only I would trust. And John is right about staying away from GEM.

    gem would be considered one of the top "low end" grading companies. i had a mcgrady sp authentic rc graded a "gem mint". i busted it and sent it to becket and got a 9. i still would stay away
