It doesn’t take long to build a big collection of anything–provided you are aggressive enough to spend money but disciplined enough not to spend a lot.






Ken Ellinger, a professor of political science at Georgia State College in Dalton is proof of that.
Inspired by a sale and always interested in something a little different, he jumped head first into modern era bobbleheads. That was six years ago. Now, whether class is in session or not, he has a big audience.
Ellinger’s office is jammed with shelf after shelf of bobblers. From sports to politics to American history, he’s closing in on 900 of them…none of which cost more than a really good pizza.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press paid him a visit to get the scoop, see the collection and show it off on video.
