you don't pay ungodly amount of money to someone to have them sit on the bench.

There's a real test coming up against Shaun Hill, the NY Giants. Osi and Tucker would love to be crazy around Hill. I am hoping Hill will make most of you guys look stupid after this game. It's going to be so much fun to watch.

Hill could go out throw for 1,000 yards and 10 Touchdowns and he'd still be the backup when Stafford comes back.

For those of you who are spewing off stats, i doubt it's all 3 yard dump passes, as his yards per attempt is 6.3 Aaron rogders, 7.3 and Brady 7.5, flacco, ryan and favre are at 6.6 YPA.
And there is no doubt Stafford will get HIS starting job back when he returns!

yards per attempt isnt how far you throw it, its how many passing yards gained divided by throws..has nothing to do with how far someone throws it

Don't think that will happen did you see how the Giants shut down Schaub and Schaub has better weapons than Hill has They are not sure if Johnson is going play and that is there main threat. The last 2 weeks the Gmens D has been great.

That is why it's worth the test to see how Shaun Hill actually performs. Like I said, I am hoping he will outperform these previous quarterbacks who faced the Giants this year.

From what I've seen and heard, Hill hasn't been anything special. Sure he had 1 good game, but the others his play is mediocre at best. He does just enough to keep them in the game, but hasn't actually done anything to win. He's been a decent game-manager, but I'm sure the Lions are chomping at the bit to get Stafford back and hope he can return and be the game-changer they drafted him to be and that he's proven he can be.
Hill's a decent QB, but he's a game-manager, he's the type of player teams want in case their game-changer quality QB goes down, but he's not the type of player many, if any, teams would want as the center piece of their offense.
oh and kinda off topic but, PatrickWillis52, exactly how many Shaun Hill cards do you have in your collection? Just wondering, because with the way your hyping him up my guess would be ALOT, or you at least have a good amount invested in some of his rookies.

How many Shaun Hill cards do I have? ZERO. Actually, he is just one of the quarterbacks I personally like to watch. The way he plays reminds me of a tough nose old school quarterback. He's really a gutsy player. Of course, he isn't a happy feet quarterback with fancy laser arm like Brees, Manning and Stafford.
That's comical to think when a quarterback with ugly pie throwing still can beat your favorite fancy team.

Yah cause the Lions have been destroying the leagues powerhouse teams with Hill under center. Oh wait, thats right, they've only won 1 game this season, and that was against last years worst team, or as you call the Rams, our favorite fancy team. LOL
And Stafford is just one of these new super soft laser arm qb's, yah, cause he didn't lead his team to a victory with a dislocated shoulder last year, oh wait again, thats right, he did!
