    I see some successes at SCN and here, but I am wondering which address is best, and what donation to send.

    why would any TTM'er pay 50 bucks for an autograph... I cant stand those huge ripoffs for shows like that.

    Because it shows that you are a TRUE fan that's willing to pay to meet and obtain that person's autograph for your collection or what not. Also you won't get ripped on that much if you were to resale the autographed item as you've already paid for it, unlike the Ebay sellers and dealers that plague every free signing opportunities just to try to make a few bucks or so.
