Free fan packs at this time of year?

I was wondering what teams give free fan packs and would be giving them out at this time of the year? I was looking to send out 6-7 requests (preferbly email). Does any one have any suggestions? teams that give good FREE fan packs?

I have kind of gotten sucked into this for my son, but since December 20th I have sent out 370 request via email.

To date I have sent in 370 and gotten email success for 77, which runs about 21%. Also of the ones I have gotten 6% were sent without a email response saying they were doing so.

I have been advised that MLB and the minor league teams are much better after April which makes since, but I will say the Tampa Yankees package was very cool. It contained 3 sets of cards 06' to 08', mini bball bat, light switch plates, and a ring that they gave out to close out Yankee stadium. Also the Timberwolves, Clemson, and Texas sent out some neat things. All in all if you do your research and contact the right people you can get some really neat stuff, even from places that don't normally send anything (i.e. mostly colleges). Here is a chart of the success I have so far!

Update - up to 460 emails sent, been concentrating mostly on Autos now and getting a lot back. of the 460 sent I have gotten back 94 with another 24 confirmed on the way. Again just be nice about it and sometimes play the rival school or disappointed little kid card and you will be amazed at what you can get.

I sent my request about a month and a half ago and I've gotten quite a few back:

Received (off the top of my head) from the Red Sox, D-backs, Athletics, Indians, brewers, Dodgers, and Giants

The Red Sox and Brewers were by far the best i received..

Keep in mind there are a few teams out there that require you to send a request by mail via letter or postcard.. The Braves, Phillies, Yankees, Mets, and White sox all require this
