Joe Sakic 2002 Olympics, 5th goal!
Pretty specific....Joe Sakic scoring the 5th goal in the gold medal game at the 2002 olympics. I have found lots of pics of it, but non suitabe for 8x10, all low res. Would really appreciate it if anyone has an image of this. Thanks

Its for a framed piece of "art" i am working on. The image you found is great, but looking for specific goals...87 canada cup Lemieux, 2010 crosby, etc. I can find the above image in various forms, but nothing with the resolution i need to print and use. Thanks.

Very difficult to find the images you mention. Hockey, particularly from the period up to the early 2000s, is just tough. I've requested numerous photos on here and had very limited success. My suggestion would be to find someone with Getty access-that's probably the only way you'll find these. The other thing I've started doing is to do google searches right after a major sporting event (stanley cup, world series, etc). You can find very large sizes of photos immediately after they hit the wire. That doesn't help you with the particular pictures you reference, but it has sure helped me out over the last several years. Most times, those large versions are taken down within a few hours/days of the event.
