Most you'll send to one guy?

Whats the most amount of items that you will send to a player to be signed? What makes your decision? Player, don't want to be greedy etc?

Just was asking because somtimes if I have like only so many of a guy I'll send them all. Or if I just don't care I'll just send them all and tell them they can keep some if they want to.

I mailed 8 to Bobby Bonilla. I told him to keep 6 for kids who do not have any cards. He signed all 8 and sent them back.

How long did he take for you to get? I just got one back last year. Took 7 years!

2 is the most ive ever, or will ever, send. the only time i send 2 things is if my brother or a friend also like the person and would enjoy the autograph. otherwise, i send one, since its for my collection, and I dont plan on selling them. there isnt an athlete out there who I need 8 autographs from, and the more people who send a ton, the less likely athletes, or celebrities in general, are to sign.
why ruin it for everyone by sending 6, 8, 10 items. send one or two and be happy that the athlete is gracious enough to sign for you

I usually send one, but I'll send two every once in a while. If I sent more than one, I tell the signer to feel free to keep one if they'd like. I sent three to Brett Hull once, but only because I had a friend that wanted one.

3; because I have 2 kids and myself. Here's a noble approach: do not send more requests than there are people in your home.
