Ryder has lost steam and Swagger getting the title put on him is a smart move?

Yup. Swagger can be elevated higher than he is now, Ryder isn't going any higher, whether the Zack marks like it or not. So it's smart to start pushing Swagger more, of course having Cena beat him down on RAW isn't going to help with that though. And I disagree that Swagger stinks on the mic. Was he was given a chance to talk on the mic as champion he delivered solid promos.

Jack Swaggers promos were terrible. I would start to nod off when he came on the mic.

Swagger's one of the most boring all-around 'talents' in the WWE. Plain and simple. He gets no pop regardless of face/heel, unless he's walking beside Vickie.
