If it were me, I would turn wrestling down even it is was 7 figure check guaranteed. My body is more important in the long run then getting beat up one time a year and rehabbing just to do it again next year.

NXT is essentially the WWE’s academy, the place where talented young wrestlers go to prove that they’ve got what it takes to make it on to the main roster for Raw and Smackdown.
But for one talented young wrestler, that dream of being in a main event at Wrestlemania has been cut painfully short.
Corey Graves, one of NXT’s most loved superstars, has been forced to retire at the tender age of 30 thanks to the multiple concussions he has suffered in the ring.

When Graves joined the pre-show set at NXT Takeover: R Evolution, he looked a little emotional, and for good reason. Graves spoke to the crowd about how he loved professional wrestling since he was a kid and was very thankful that he got the opportunity to join WWE.
Graves would go onto say that unfortunately, according to the advice of WWE doctors, he should end his in-ring career. He followed through with that and announced his retirement from professional wrestling.
