It's actually W.M. His full legal name is William McGarvey Dudley. On all of his fan autos etc he signed his football name Bill Dudley or Bullet Bill Dudley. But on his cut checks he always signed the more formal W. M. DudleyI don't care if you need a week to ship! Perspective.

Nice additions. Always been a big fan of odd ball items. I will keep an eye out on the limited /10 for you.

Just out of curiosity, what auto do you prefer? I have seen, because of you, about 4 or 5 different variations...

Bullet Bill Dudley is my favorite way. Bullet Bill only was a Panini nicknames promo gone wrong as they continued to use his auto stickers for regular products for two years after the nicknames project came out. Idiots! So that's not a natural signature IMO. The WM Dudley is ONLY on checks. You know how old school people are, they learned a "proper" way to sign the check and never changed it. Bill Dudley is too plain. Bullet is a cool nickname. That was back in the day where all good players had a nickname and I just really like it - especially since it was a joke. He was terribly slow, just impossible to tackle. One writer suggested his nickname should have been ricochet Bill Dudley since he would bounce off of tacklers, go a different direction on his way to the endzone. Funny but true!
