Showing off my Bullet Bill Dudley Collection

well guys nothing too big today - just the plaque from the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame which is autographed.

This is a really bad scan of the PSA/DNA letter from when this piece was auctioned. I had to use a scanning app from my ipad and you can see why I can't scan cards and have to use pics. Anyway, I think you will be able to read the words. This is definitely a key item in my collection!!

Thanks! No, I haven't upgraded yet. Been focusing on the modern stuff as it has been popping up.

Nice pick-up - the Obak design/logo is something different.

yeah the Obak design is actually unique and well done - the whole set was. I am not a big fan of cutting cards to make new cards however.

I am currently working on my links and may move the whole lot but for now this is the link to my collection in case anyone wanted to see it all.

Today - a wrong righted! LOL The 2008 UD Masterpieces set was in my opinion a football release for the ages. Only 1 year of this remarkable product was released and 5 years later there are still many collectors trying to put together the auto set, patch set or many color framed sets or player rainbows. It really was a unique product and a great mix of legendary Hall of Famers, vets and rookies. And in some cases on the same card! But of course I was not happy that a Bill Dudley opportunity was missed. But today, over 5 years later, a wrong has been righted. A HUGE thank you to Mark (last name withheld) for helping me with this project. And along the way he even gave me a couple of extra surprises. He is very modest and doesn't consider himself an artist but I beg to differ and I am thrilled with the outcome.

First a couple of the bonus cards he mad for me. One is a "wooden" card a la Allen and Ginter 1/1s. The second a Bill Dudley "refractor" for lack of a better term and man is it gorgeous!
