Mail Strike Contest #2 - Guess The Date The Strike Will End!
Tired of the rotating strikes by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers? Looking forward to having your sales/trades with Canadian members proceed as normal? Does your intuition tell you when you think this strike is going to end? TELL US! ... And possibly win a prize as well!
Welcome to SCF's GUESS THE DATE THE STRIKE WILL END CONTEST!!!
The rules for the contest are simple:
1. PM an SCF hockey moderator with the subject line "Mail Strike Contest #2 - Guess"
2. Indicate in your PM your guess - that is, the DATE on which you think the striking will no longer be in effect. Please take careful note of this. The "winning date" will not be the date that Canada Post officially announces the end of the strike, but rather, the date on which all mail services through Canada Post will resume as normal.
For example: "My guess is that the CUPW strikes will end on Tuesday, June 14, 2011".
3. Respond to this thread indicating that you have PMed your guess to a mod. You only need to say "Guess sent" or "Guess PMed" or something to that effect. You would be wise not to share your guess in this thread.
4. Only one guess per member.
5. You must be a member in good standing with SCF.
6. You must make your guess before Sunday, June 19th, 2011, by 11:59pm EST to qualify. There is no telling when the union of postal workers will stop their strikes, so you would be wise to guess as early as possible!! (Deadline has been extended!)
7. Contest is open to members from all countries, since all are being impacted by this.
More details on the winning prize(s) to follow!
So, it's simple: Guess the date the strike ends, win a prize!
