Contest Rules:

***Please only enter wins from the listed dates.***

1. Contest begins at 12:00am EST July 1st and runs until 11:59pm EST July 31th. Only auctions won during that time will be accepted for entry! And... Entries will be accepted until August 1st, 11:59pm.
2. Three (3) auctions per member per month. (Please edit in your wins into one post as many have done last month) The auction needs to be on single cards, not on a box of cards. Choose wisely! (Hockey only, please check the other sports for a similar contest)
3. Post a link to your Ebay auction win.
4. The Ebay user ID in your SCF profile MUST match the user ID of the winning bidder!
**I will not chase people to make sure that there Ebay Profile is set up properly on SCF. If your ID is not set up your entry will not be accepted. So please make sure you are good to go. If you do not know how to setup your Ebay user ID in your SCF profile, feel free to contact me but I will not chase people down to make sure it is done.
5. Explain why you think your card is a steal. If it has a BV, let us know. You can even show previous auctions that ended to compare your win. Convince us!
6. The Hockey moderating team will vote on the winner. Winner will be announced after the votes are in and given 150cc into their account.
7. Member must be in good standing. Please refer to the SCF Rules page on infractions.
8. Please make sure that the auction you submit is not a private listing (where eBay IDs are not shown). Private listing auctions will not be accepted.

SCF staff cannot participate in this contest.

Card Cash (CC) can be used for purchasing cards from our Card Cash store, purchasing cards from Card Cash auctions, purchasing cards from other members, playing SCF arcade games, and for betting.

I know it is only an Alfredsson patch but a 3 color patch (plus a touch of a fourth color) with a low print run for .99? That is a crazy deal!

Earlier in the year, I paid $30 for an IP auto (which is still worth it IMO) of the Big Z.

A 1/1 for 11.74 shipped? Especially from a new product, only about a week old at the time. The other 1/1s have sold for 31-51 not including shipping. A steal for sure!

OK, so my entry cost me $92.44, free ship, which is obviously a good amount of money (you're thinking I should have bought ultimate). But hey, it's for my PC and I went for it. The story on this one is the hook.

Was watching this for about 5 days since the starting bid was a buck. With three minutes to go it was still around $25 (keep in mind others sold in the same week went for $100+ -- see below). My plan was to drop a huge snipe bomb at the end of the auction. One min left it was and $45 and with 10s left I entered $93 thinking I'd get it in the $50-70 range. With 3s left, someone had the same plan as I did and bid $92, as you can see in the final price. If the guy had bid one more dollar or left a few seconds for a second bid I would have been done. He missed my max bid by a dollar. How crazy is that?

Im going to call this my steal for the month, dont really know how to get much better than 24 GU, 3 AU, 120 YGs, Black Diamond Quad Diamond Bases and Rookie Cards and Golds /10 all for 25$. right place, right time, i love garage sales lol
