    I am pretty sure that the NBA doesn't authenticate autographs and that hologram only means that the photo is an offically licensed NBA photo. The NBA and NFL put holograms on officially licensed merchandise, but it doesn't have anything to do with authentication. The NBA & NFL have deals with Mounted Memories, so autographed memorabilia would have the Mounted Memories hologram on it. To my knowledge, only the MLB hologram denotes an authentic autograph witnessed by a MLB representative. Hope that helps.
