maybe the market prices in my head are a little dated. i know trotter does freebies every once in a while tho, i doubt rolle or lewis are much of a draw on their own. i was at the last one to get rollins so i got marchetti and moore while i was there but i wouldn't have gone just for them. i'll wait to see if anyone else worth while is announced, otherwise i think i'm gonna save myself a drive to oaks that weekend.

I agree. I would have a hard time getting up for a free Lewis or Rolle signing.

i've learned to bring my own pens/markers, hand them to the player before you hand them your item. that way you get a nice sharp sig in the color you want.
a lot of this current batch of flyers seem to be not so fan friendly. hartnell and coburn are the only ones i can really say anything good about.

your right on with both, coburn was cool and hartnell did the old slap me high five and pull his hand away and had me lunging to mid air, really funny, gave me a good hand shake after that though

for as big as the chantilly show always looks to be, the oaks show seems pretty half hearted. a lot of the vendors sell stuff that should be at a flea market and none of the guests are much of a draw at these prices. the last show they had in the fall was awkwardly empty and silent.

The Oaks show in the fall was a morgue to me. It was my first Oaks show and I was very disappointed. It was dead and seemed like the dealers could careless about anything going on because the show was dead.
