Not an autograph signing note, but I just wanted to say how happy I am that the Eagles just signed Lesean McCoy to a 5 year deal. I'm glad that a great guy, signer and player like McCoy will be staying in Philly for a while.

Shadys really hot and cold as a signer. I've been to radio shows where he hasn't even looked up for like 5 people.

I am psyched about the extension, but I wouldn't call him a good signer.

I'm sure he's gotten tougher as he's gotten better since there's more of a demand for his auto, but I've never really had a bad experience with him. I'm mostly just glad that he's staying in Philly because I think he's a beast.

Burrell will throw out the first pitch at Citizens Bank Park on May 19 during the Phils' three-day series with the Boston Red Sox, MLB.com reports. After throwing out the pitch, Burrell will sign autographs in the Hall of Fame Club and appear on the telecast.

Mc Coy is a bum at free appearances. He only signs for kids and even complains about it. I've even heard his body guard fat guy say.....come on man just sign it for the kid!

Yeah, that was my experience as well. One time he signed for only my fiance because she asked Ike Reese really nicely and sweetly if he'd bring it back to the VIP area where shady was eating, and he did.

I went to 2 other shows, 1 he signed 1 per for everyone grudgingly and personalized, the other he didn't even look up.

I'm sure things will only get worse now that he's paid.

interesting... i got shady at a bank opening last year. brought a 16x20 of him playing for Pitt. he got out of chair to give me a "bro hug" bc he loved the pic. he was very nice

McCoy I know was sued 2x by promoters who paid him for signings that he never fulfilled. McCoy lost both cases.

looks like their items only- still awesome for a tough philly to get. Anyone driving down from the city? I have no car this weekend.

It would be about a 3+ hour drive for me......too much in gas and tolls just for a car promo item to be signed. Out of ALL of my stuff, I have nothing at all RUIZ :(
