yeah he has patience. guess its better than the endless "so wait, where do I stand?", "wait where do I park?", "wait what do I wear?" questions

Good job Jyosi- as others said I was lucky enough to pay for the cliff lee line last year. I was probably 10 people away from where they cut his paid line off.

It is overwhelming the first time, but I will give a tip to the newbies that want to trade- bring a backpack full of photos, duplicate autos, baseballs, whatever. There are a lot of graphers there, but also a lot of families and normal guys that have scraps of paper to get signed. You could be like "oh you have a wilson valdez ticket and nothing for him- I have this photo with me- why don't you give me your ross gload ticket for it"

I did that kind of trading 2-3 times last time, and got gload, madson and polanco tickets which I was able to trade up. I also traded a chooch certified packpulled auto card to a mother whos kids loved chooch but he wasnt signing bc he was in the booth- she gave me her hamels ticket for it.

So bring a backpack full of stuff, get there EARLY- like 2-3 hours before gates open and just walk up and down the line and offer trades to strangers- call out what you have and what you need like a guy scalping tickets along the line "I got rollins I need halladay!" etc.

Finally, if you want to try to get in a line for 10 dollars, befriend the usher in front of that table. Tell him what a fan you are of that player, shoot the breeze with him/her etc, and ask them politely to please let you know as soon as they open the line. This worked for me with Lee.

    Good luck everybody!

P.S. If you aren't lucky enough to get a package because it is sold out, I would recommend NOT buying on craigslist and ebay. I would go down there the day of with nothing, and trade/scalp your way into tickets. The dealers all bought like 10 admission packages so they have more admission tickets than they know what to do with, so you can buy one for 5-10 bucks or get one for free if you're lucky- then you can try to buy/trade for auto tickets like I recommend above.

Think he'll write "Dick Allen's brother" as an inscription?
