Its mostly rookies and prospects but well worth it. They do a team autograph session for $10 donation. They give you a photo usually and you can get to through the line and they will pretty much sign whatver you want. All the players sit in a row so you can get every one of them. Last year I got every player on the team photo they gave out, every player on generic blank hockey cards and some of them on pucks and or photos so I walked away with close to 100 autographs with really no effort. Last years trial had Schenn, Couturier, Read, Rinaldo, Gustafson, Bourdon, Wellwood, Marshall, Manning, Sestito, Holmstrom, and Harry Z that I can think of off the top of my head not to mention Lappy, Hatcher and Cote floating around also. In years past I have gotten Giroux, jvr and Bob, Carter, and Richards just to name a few, not to bad for $10. After the autograph session there is a team softball game that you can also graph at again if you want that is free to watch but not even close to as organzied and unless you know what some of these guys look like very tough to graph. The thing about the softball game is usually there are some random people who will show up to play. In years past I have gotten Carter, Briere and Coburn at them after they have been in the league a few years. Its really just a great day to get some young future flyers autographs and if you keep your eyes open who never know who else will be there walking around.
On that note and just a little help on who to target future flyer player wise on who may go so your not wasting pucks or whatever on every player there. A list of guys off the top of my head who could be on the flyers in the near future or who have already played for the flyers. If I had to guess Harry Z and Brandon Manning should both be there from last years team. I would also go after Tye Mcginn, Tyler Brown, Olivier Lauridssen, Nick Cousins, Derek Mathers, Jason Akeson, Cal Heeter, Niko Hovinen and whoever the flyers 1st round pick is this year if they decide to keep it. I may be missing a guy or 2 but I hope this helps out.Last edited by jtbruds9; 06-08-2012 at 07:38 AM.

That sounds pretty awesome. I always saw them talk about it on Comcast, but never paid it much mind.

JTBruds hit it on the head. easy graphing (though the volunteers rush you through the line if they see you getting stuff other than the team photo or tshirt you get w/your $10 donation. last year, i got everyone, plus 8x10s of about 15-20 guys, some 4x6's, some cards & pucks of Couturier, Schenn & Read, oh & my GU all-star gloves signed by Gustafsson. Sestito almost definitely won't be there, he is too old i believe. the cutoff is usually 23 yrs old. unless you are just coming out of college. last year Read was the exception at 25, but he asked to be allowed to participate that was the 1st time i've ever seen that happen in teh yrs i've been going. expect any Phantoms players 23 or under, any non-European draft pk from previous yrs that they still have the rights to, all 2012 draft pks (Euro or not), any prospects signed this offseason from college/jrs/Europe & a bunch of scattered players that are just tryouts & usually have no shot of being signed. they will release the list of players about a week before.
aside from the players JTBruds listed, in recent years i've also gotten Orest Kindrachuk, Steve Coates (i know not a big deal), Paul Holmgren, Derian Hatcher & Johan Backlund at the softball game. also if anyone's interested, ex Philadelphia Phantom & Atlantic City Bullies player Dan Peters always plays in the softball gm for the local team, since he is now a cop in Stone Harbor. extremely nice guy who will sign for you also.
if you can go, its well worth it. this will be the 1st yr i miss in a long time & pissed about it!
