Anyone have any suggestions on how to protect a full-sized helmet at the carnival? I've had issues with scratches going through the signatures on the top when anything touches it.

I was thinking of just bringing it in the case I have, but it's pretty bulky / heavy to carry around all day.

The safest way, and I say this with sincerity not to be a jerk, would prob be wearing it. As long as you don't mind being heckled that is.....

otherwise maybe inside a duffle or back pack with a sheet or some cloth around it.

i'm definitely gonna heckle anyone wearing a helmet ;)

never done hockey helmets, but when i've taken football helmets to signings i usually wrap them in a t-shirt and put them in a back pack.

I hit up World B Free on my lunch break. I was worried I wouldn't find a parking spot but got one right around the corner. As I approached they were begging people to come I. Offered me free pretzels, I asked "uh is world b free here ". They said oh he's here too. I walked in not a soul at the table and he pleasantly signed he photos for me. As we talked I stated how the game was a lot different back then and he said "yea the shorts were a lot higher."

    Not a bad lunch break!
