Would you be in favor of the gov't getting involved in ending a sports lockout/strike

With the nba lockout going on with no end in site my question to the group would you be in favor of the federal gov't getting involved to end a sports labor dispute? The reason why is that sports are interstate commerce and per the constitution congress does have to power to regulate interstate commerce. Also millions if not billions of dollars not to mention thousands of jobs are at stake the least of which are headed overseas with the players taking international jobs. That could be tax revenue spent over here. Also check out my suggestions that should be bought up during the nba barganing sessions:

You want to solve a problem of a bunch of beaurocrats yelling at each other and not getting anything done, by just dumping on a whole bunch more beaurocrats who just yell at each other and don't get anything done? That's like recruiting a bunch of arsonists to help put out a forest fire.

no. just like they had no business butting into the steroid issue within baseball. They did it simply for grandstanding purposes. It's ironic that they butted into the issue with baseball and yet pretty much left all of the other sports alone.

I don't think they have any business getting involved in the NBA lockout.

Sure they can get involved! Why not?! The economy is tanking, the stock market is unstable and volatile, the housing market is imploding, unemployment remains high...they obviously need to focus on the important things like pro basketball labor negotiations.

Can they make the Pacers put together a competitive squad? I'd be all for that.
