Ultimate Fantasy League - What kind of GM are you? 2011/12

As the new commissioner of this league I'm starting a new thread for the 2011/12 What kind of GM are you? Fantasy Hockey Keeper League.

As this is year 2 of this league it is already a full 30 team league so there are no current openings but if anyone is interested in joining you can be put on a wait list to take over a team.

I'll be updating this thread with important league news and announcements.

Also you can post any general questions in this thread along with anything else related to the league.

I encourage activity in posting here and on the fantrax.com forums.

Lookinging forward to the new NHL season and the 2nd year of the fantasy league.

So far there are no prizes for this year. Will try a figure something out. Planning on doing some contests and giving away some of my cards as prizes for them but not year end prizes yet.

In a surprise move Bombers GM, Tyson Swain, has traded team captain Zach Parise to Jaime Escalante. Tyson stated "Any time you get a chance to add Pacioretty and a defenceman in Edlers skill level you have to pull the trigger. Once Andy (McDonald) comes back from IR he will slip into our 2nd line spot. We are also very happy to add another 1st round pick for the upcoming draft" Also leaving the team with Parise was Nate Prosser and a 2012 2nd round pick. "We aren't done trading yet, we feel we need to make another trade or two to become contenders"

Bombers make 2nd move in two days. Bombers send out Nikita Filatov and Ryan O'Byrne for Chad Larose and a 2012 3rd Round Pick. Bombers GM was quoted saying "Larose is a very capable player in the NHL and will fit in nicely on our left wing where we had a small void" The 3rd round pick gives the Bombers four draft picks in the first 3 rounds of the 2012 draft.

Tyson...look over the Syracuse Cheaters...I need to shake up some things...offense is struggling, my D has been DESROYED by the injury bug this year...need to do something. LMK what you may want.
