    What Mat Cutter to buy?

I am looking to buy a hand held mat cutter. It has to cut at 45 degree angle. Does anyone know of a good one to buy? I am only looking to spend under $30 for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hand held mat cutters aren't worth it. In addition to the cutter, you need to buy a T ruler to keep your edge and you need to buy a cutting mat to put under your mat board so you don't scratch the table you are working on. Then after you buy all that stuff it is difficult to use because you don't have a squaring arm to hold your mat in place and it slides so you either have really poorly cut mats or you need to invest in a squaring arm on top of all the other stuff.

For under $30? I would suggest saving your money. You need about $150 to get something decent. Check out the company logan.
