Losing 6-2 after 6 thanks to a 5th inning grand slam by Kevin Youkilis off of Ivan Nova,not looking good.On the bright side The Kansas City Royals actually beat the Rays 1-0 in 10 innings,so at worst the division lead will stay at 4 games.

7-3 Loss tonight,Nova had another bad outing and the bats weren't working either besides solo homers from Jeter and Martin,not fun to watch,better luck tomorrow.

Well another loss,tonight's debacle 2-1,way to waste a good pitching effort from Phil Hughes,only 4 hits and the lone run was on a Derek Jeter home run,those footsteps the Yankees are hearing are coming from the Rays who won 5-3 division lead down to 3.

Nice comeback outing for C.C. 71/3RD innings 4 hits 1 walk 9 strikeouts,only run was on an Asdrubal Cabrera solo home run,Soriano made it alot more gut wrenching than I would like in the 9th,but hey he didn't give up a run.Nick Swisher drove in all 3 runs with a first inning double and a 7th inning 2 run homer.And this final just in Oakland 5 Tampa Bay 4,division lead back up to 3 1/2 Woo-Hoo.

Well 4-2 win today,was at work so don't know many details,I know Granderson hit his 200th home run,and it sounds like Girardi made a smart managerial move in the 5th by pulling Garcia before he let the game get away,division lead back up to 4 games,I'll take it.

Tied at 7 after 9,couldn't hold a 6-4 lead as Soriano gave up a 3 run homer to Rasmus,thank goodness the Captain tied it with a homer in the bottom of the 9th,hope it's over quickly gotta be up early for work tomorrow,as a hurricane might be hitting Mississippi within a day or two and working for an ambulance company it is always hectic.

8-7 loss,another game just given away,at least the Rays also lost 6-5,way to go Bronx Bummers.

2-1 win tonight,Hughes went 7 good innings only giving up 1 run,Robertson and Soriano finished it off,the offense was a Granderson sac fly and a Swisher rbi single,not complaining a heckuva lot better than last nights result,but the Orioles keep on winning,they are becoming more of a threat than the Rays.
