    I have not been interested in it because I am logical enough to know that all countries spy on each other. What's more, I thought they were informants gathering info on terrorist groups. Were they actually spying on government bodies and collecting government secrets?

    I would not be shocked to learn that every major country and many minor ones have spies in the US. It is part of politics and world relations. Nobody trust anybody.
