Today I got an autograph from former Chicago Bears defensive end, and part of the Super Bowl XX Champion team, Mike Hartenstine, for free, at an appearance at the Sports Collectibles Convention in Rosemont, IL.

Today I went to two different places for autographs. First, I got autographs from Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, 4 cards signed, for free, at an appearance in Algonquin, IL.

Today, I got autographs from 2 current Chicago Bears, tight end Matt Spaeth, 2 8x10's and 1 card signed, and defensive tackle Stephen Paea, 5 cards signed, all for free, at an appearance in Antioch, IL.

Today I went to a trifecta of football signings.

First, I went to an appearance by Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte, and got 6 cards signed, for free, at an appearance in Chicago, IL.

Then, I drove near Milwaukee, and went to an appearance by Green Bay Packers linebacker AJ Hawk, and got 4 cards signed, for free, at an appearance in Brookfield, WI.

Finally, I went to an appearance by Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith, and got 1 8x10 and 1 5x7 signed, for free, at an appearance in Glendale, WI.

Today I got autographs from former Chicago Blackhawk Jeremy Roenick at the last stop of his week-long Illinois book tour. If you bought the book, he would sign a few additional pieces of memorabilia for free, so I got two cards and a puck signed, along with his new book "J.R.", at Costco in Schaumburg, IL.
