Black sharpies are the worst thing to happen to graphing since rain fell from the sky. People who bring those need to be put in a figure 4.

Sorry man, I've got the second one done with the sole purpose of displaying it in my office space at work.
Agreed. I don't mind black sharpies sometimes, but not on an already dark photo or piece.

Detroit Red Wings' defensemen, team captain, and future Hall of Famer, Nicklas Lidstrom, made an appearance for a free signing he was doing at the Warrior and Brine Headquarter in Warren, MI as part of a tent sale the company was having. Being just 2 companies over from my workplace and taking place during my lunch break, couldn't help but take a stroll over there to check it out. Got Nick to sign my puck (my paint pen crapped out at the beginning of his sig) and ask if he could include the inscription of "4X SC Champ", which he did.

Attended the Motor City Comic Con held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI today. Primary was there for former WWE wrestlers John Morrison and Melina Perez as I wasn't interested in the other celebrity guests they brought in for paid signings there. Paid the signing fee and got John Morrison to sign my 8 x 10 photo, asked if he could include the inscription of "The Shaman Of Sexy", which he obliged. Paid the signing fee, got Melina to sign my 8 x 10 photo, and had a good 10 minutes conversation with her before departing her booth to scope out the rest of Comic Con.

Attended the Detroit Lions' 8th Annual Tony Fillippis Memorial Bocce Tournament held at the Palazzo di Bocce out in Orion Township, MI today. Got the following personnels who were on-hand for support or participated in the actual games as well to sign for me:
long snapper Don Muhlbach - 1/1 page from 2010 pet calendar, 1/1 page from 2011 pet calendar
wide receiver CALVIN "MEGATRON" JOHNSON - 1/1 mini-helmet, 1/1 8 x 10 photo (finally got it done for an uncle in WI that's been bugging me to get him Calvin's autograph. LOL), 1/1 page from 2010 pet calendar, 1/1 trading card, and also got a picture taken with
former NFL player Lomas Brown - 2/2 trading cards
defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch - 1/1 trading card plus got a picture taken with
Also got head coach Jim Schwartz plus 21 players on a football that consisted of kicker Jason Hanson, punter Ben Graham, wide receiver Nate Burleson, wide receiver/kick return specialist Stefan Logan, offensive tackle Riley Reiff, wide receiver Ryan Broyles, defensive back Don Carey, tight end Will Heller, linebacker Travis Lewis, offensive guard J.C. Oram, wide receiver Troy Burrell, quarterback Kellen Moore, wide receiver Marcus Harris, cornerback Chris Greenwood, defensive tackle Michael Cosgrove, linebacker Tahir Whitehead, offensive tackle Quinn Barham, defensive end Ronnell Lewis, running back Stephfon Green, and 3 other signatures I couldn't identify.
None of the regular starters and back-up players were in attendance with the majority just being the Lions' 2012 Draft picks, guys fighting for roster spots, and Lions alumni's that I didn't need. Glad that "Megatron" showed up to make it well worth the price of admission and racked it up the hour or so he was there at the tournament. Wish I would of brought more stuff, had I known he was going to rack like that.
Detroit Lions' great Lomas Brown recognized me, from meeting him before, and asked if I will be attending the upcoming Lions' softball game as well. I answered him that I will be attending the softball game, but I have to help out at Steelers' linebacker LaMarr Woodley's football camp in the morning of the same day first. Lomas then ask if I could help him out at his upcoming football camp as well, and I agreed, so we ended up exchanging numbers, knowing that he's a pretty down to earth and genuinely nice guy, also neighbor to my co-worker, Eddie Murray. Speaking of Eddie Murray, my co-worker and Lions' alumni, also stopped by the tournament. We were both surprised to run into each other there as well, and I told him that I took the day off work just to attend the tournament. He also mentioned that our supervisor was also going to be stopping by and he did stop by, but was cool about it and we all laughed it off. As I picked up my car from valet, noticed that my car was brought up behind Lions' running back Joique Bell (who I actually found a card for through digging my cards last night), I got out of my car, but he was already driving off, so didn't bother chasing him and just headed home.
All in all, even though more of the Lions' regular players could have shown up as I've brought stuff for the majority of them, I'm content with getting Calvin once again. Made the most of it, enjoying the food and the actual tournament as well. Can't wait to see what next year will bring.
