Man, that was a ugly inning. Fister gets hit right in the hit and the ump blew a couple strike calls. I agree the strike zone is huge today.

Probably not, but I enjoy his antics, much more so than Brian Wilson atleast.

Thanks Gene Lamont and Jim Leyland for ruining any shot to win tonight. Had Bumgarner on the ropes early, and Lamont bailed him out, then Leyland's managing the last few innings was some kind of pathetic.

how on earth can you not stand a guy that is out there having fun and not taking the game too serious? Would hope most players would have his attitude

even more than that though was Smyly and Dotel having no idea where the strike zone was. I thought the Giants were going to have Blanco just not try and bunt the runners over and let Smyly just walk him to load it up

Lamont messed that one up , Who sends Fielder ( 300 pounds ) home from first with no one out ? Could be the game right there ! Cabrera can't save them all the time !! Tigers terrible on the road . Glad they are headed back to Detroit !!

Yep, which goes back to the bad managing part. If Phil Coke wasn't your closer (like Leyland claims) why wouldn't you bring him in after Fister? That was a huge spot in the game, and then to just play for a double play when your offense has only 2 hits (and there was no guarantee Cabrera would hit again) is just so dumb.

Don't want to take credit from the Giants though, they won the game, and Bochy did a great job to outmanage Leyland.

You are right,at that point in the game 1 run might as well have been 100,the Tigers were not hitting and to let the go ahead run score even though they got the double play was useless.
