Leyland, Peralta, and Dotel will be back next year. Thankfully, Dombrowski said Delmon and Valverde won't be.

Looks like you guys might be landing my guy Torii Hunter.. This disgusts me because now I might actually have to have respect for the Tigers

Decent pickup, but for 13 mil per season? Although he did have a very nice season, he's 37. His body will start breaking down just like every other player in his late 30's. What the Tigers should really do is pursue Soriano. They need bullpen help, and he's the best on the market in that category.

It's only 2 years, and he's an upgrade. The Tigers don't need Soriano though, their bullpen is fine. Villarreal, Alburquerque, Dotel, Benoit, Coke and whoever else they use (might be Bruce Rondon) is fine. No sense in paying Soriano 4 years and $50+ million to pitch 60 innings a season.

I honestly am Happy for Hunter though. 13 million isnt too much for him him either. He is Still a better outfielder than half the guys in league at his age plus the impact of him being in the club house will add tons of positivity. Plus Jackson should benefit from this a lot, if Torii becomes a mentor for him, Jackson will improve tons, much like Trout. Plus Hunter is a consistant bat and can practically gurantee the Tigers a .280+ avg, 15+ Homers, and 80+ RBI

Back to back MVP's in the D! And I'd trade them both for a World Championship.

Yep, no doubt about that. Hopefully next year is the year, I can't handle another deep run that ends in disappointment.
