You've got some guys that have never been kind in philly. I've needed bynum to finish a few team items for awhile and he never picks up a pen on LA, the Sixers or now Cle. Also, I am 0/7 lifetime on bosch- he never even looks up. So those are great scores. Sucks that Bron doesn't do it in Cle, though I think we can all figure out why. I read recently that he apologized for the way he handled his leaving, so I thought maybe he would be good about it. I am also 0/7 with Lebron lifetime

In short, keep up the good work.

Thanks man. I'll tell ya what, I've only seen Bynum sign once after he signed for me. Perhaps it was just right place at the right time. I also thought that LeBron would sign here, as sooo many people have told me that he cleans up at the stadium. Once I got there though, I heard otherwise from the usual graphers there.

12-14-13: AKA my Birthday: AKA Canton Charge vs. Erie Bayhawks.

Went there to go and get Jeremy Tyler. Need his autograph for my NBA Hoops 2012-13 autographed set. Also, a person I use to watch on the Cavs growing up plays for Erie now.

1/1 Ricky Davis- 09-10 Panini: Told him I use to watch him on the cavs when I grew up. He just laughed and made the old "You were in Diapers back then" joke. Nice guy though. Hope he makes it back up. He's there trying to make a comeback, so hopefully all goes well.

2/2 Jeremy Tyler on 2 12-13 NBA Hoops-Weird thing here. I handed him my cards and a blue sharpie and asked me if I had a black one instead. Usually I bring one just in case, but tonight I didn't. Not sure if he was trying to prevent me from selling or if he has a color preference or whatever, he eventually just shrugged and signed. I told him I got off work on my birthday to watch him play and get his signature. He wished me a happy birthday and was on his way.

?/2- James Posey- Posey is a coach here now for the Charge. I had to leave the game early but my buddy asked me to leave him a card or two and he'd try to get him afterwards. Soooooooo we'll see how that goes.

    Anyhow

    TTM

2/2 Chuck Bednarik- I sent this back I believe two weeks before father's day in hope I could get my dad's favorite player on a picture. I got them back today, both my picture for my dad and my Sport's Illustrated, signed beautifully. So glad I could make my father happy and add this amazing HOF'er to my collection. Probably one of the greatest to play the game...both ways.

These next two months...expect to see some posts. Lots of games coming up and its gonna be entertaining!

We see Miami late in the season and I have no doubt Lebron will not sign. Wade appears to be the most likely to sign so I'll hold out hope.

I see Cleveland in Feb and I'm just hoping to get Bennett and Irving on my new custom card being made. I'll likely go to this game to double up on my efforts.

Keep up the good work and I enjoy reading. You should try the away teams at hotels before games and you would be killing it.

So before I get to the Cavs vs. Trail Blazers, unfinished business.

2/2 James Posey- One 09-10 Panini and one 09-10 Upper Deck.

My buddy walked into work with both my Posey cards signed. Awesome to get these back.

    Now onto the game

    12-17-13, Cavs vs. Trail Blazers.

Awesome game overall. One of the best of the year, and I got amazing court side seats from a contest. If that wasn't enough, it was also probably my best auto session to date for this season! Possibly the year.

    1/1- Joel Freeland on Program
1/1- Earl Watson on Panini 09-10
1/1- Allen Crabbe on 13-14 NBA Hoops Rookie. This was a bit iffy as he signed in blue on the black background. It's hard to see unless you hold it towards the light. Either way though, happy to have him sign!
1/1 Meyers Leonard on 12-13 NBA Hoops. Also stopped to take a quick photo with me. Nice.
3/3 Thomas Robinson on 2 NBA Hoops 12-13 cards and 1 Draft Night NBA Hoops 12-13 card.
2/2 Nicolas Batum on 2 NBA Hoops 12-13 cards
1/1 Mo Williams on NBA Hoops 12-13 card
1/1 Robin Lopez on NBA hoops 12-13 card. Really happy for this one as he was strange earlier in the year. The last time he was on the Hornets and he just signed for two people, skipped the whole like and signed for the last 2 people in line. Really happy to get him this time for my set.
2/2 Wesley Matthews on 1 NBA Hoops 12-13 and Panini Prestige 13-14
1/1 Victor Claver on NBA Hoops 13-14
1/1 Dorell Wright on NBA Hoops 12-13. Happy to have him sign again as the last time he signed on the 76ers, he signed in a crappy silver marker that really doesn't show. Glad to have a clear signature for the set this time around.

And the two big ones of the night.

1/1 LaMarcus Aldridge on an NBA Hoops 12-13 card
2/2 Damian Lillard on an NBA Hoops 12-13 Rookie Card & DIME Magazine Cover. SUPER pumped for this. The only reason I got two was because a buddy of mine already got him on the last visit out (last season) and had nothing for him. He got my RC signed while I got the Magazine taken care of.

Overall, a huge night. still got the Golden State Warriors this year, possibly the Hawks, and who knows what else. Stay tuned! Pics also may be coming at some point this week.

So my good luck streak for autos ran out. Went to the 12-29-13 game vs. the Golden State Warriors. So my buddy and I went to the Casino beforehand...and were winning a lot of money. So we decided to stay a tad bit longer to win more. We did, but I ended up paying for it. The lines were PACKED which almost never happens except for like the Heat or Lakers. I was in the 2nd row, which usually means I have a good shot at getting an auto...but struck out completely. Missed Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iggy...in fact they cut off autos super early because people started pushing so much that they destroyed a barrier. I almost got Iggy and then that happened too...there was only one success and personally...I liked it.

    1/1-Brian Scalabrine on a ticket.

Sooooo 2013 is coming to a close. And I have to add up the duplicates, but it looks like I am not reaching 500. It's a shame, and its partially my fault because I got lazy during parts of the year. However, the quality autos I received this year are pretty solid, ranging from Damian Lillard, Chris Bosh, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kyrie Irving, Asdrubal Cabrera, Adam Jones, Phil Taylor, Tony CinGrani, Justin Morneau, Andrew Bynum, Warren Moon, Earl Campbell....it was a great list to say the least. Loving that year for autos.

And as always, open to suggestions for my goal for this year. Any suggestions are welcomed. Also, would love it if an administrator could PM me too about contests and such held in my forum. If possible, I would like to get some fun stuff going for some of my followers.

It's been a great year and I appreciate all the support and comments from the community. Happy New Year to all, and be safe!

    2014 has arrived!

New Year, New Goal, New Autos. Gotta love it.

So after some contemplating (and no suggestions for goals...thanks guys ), here's what my goals/resolutions are for this year!

Main Goal: Obtain 365 different autographs throughout the year.
-To me, it's a more realistic goal as last year I set the bar super high. I think this is very doable with my schedule and my games attendance.
    Side Goals/Optional Goals:
    1. Obtain 500 Autos- Still obsessed with the 500 mark. This will obviously come into play if I get past 365. I will count duplicates in this goal, however the previous one will not!
    2. Obtain Nick Swisher's Autograph- This guy is legitimately hard to get and I still have my Harlem Shake photo to finish. It cannot be deemed "complete" until I get the ringleader and the guy who is in the very front of the picture.
    3. Range into different areas- Those of you who do see this forum regularly notice that a lot of the autos on the previous lists have been majorly Basketball and Baseball. While I do love the sports & will proceed to continue attending these events, I plan to branch out more to other sports I enjoy. I wanna try and attend a Browns Training Camp Practice this coming year, as well as maybe attended the HOF ceremony and game (if money permits, they can get pricy for tickets). Also, I may attempt some hockey...if somebody can point me in the right direction for that. I know very little about hockey, but at the same time am very intrigued by it.

    Let's get started

1-5-14: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers.

Went tonight to the game in hopes of Paul George signing my SLAM Magazine...he ran right past...as did David West. However, I did manage some good grabs in my haul.

1/1 Solomon Hill on 13-14 Panini Prestige Rookie.
1/1 Chris Copeland on 13-14 NBA Hoops
2/2 Orlando Johnson on 2 13-14 NBA Hoops
1/1 Lance Stephenson on 13-14 NBA Hoops
    1/1 C.J. Watson on 09-10 NBA Panini
1/1 Luis Scola on 12-13 NBA Hoops
2/2 Ian Mahinmi on 2 NBA Hoops 12-13. (one of the autos came out cruddy, but if held in the light correctly, it looks alright. Other one is really nice though.
1/1 Danny Granger on 12-13 NBA Hoops.

All in all a nice start to the new year. There will be no real delay in the next post as well as we see the 76ers on Tuesday

Alright so the update from yesterday's 76ers vs Cavs game.

1/1-Hollis Thompson, James Anderson, Lorenzon Brown, Elliot Williams, & Brandon Davies all on top loaders
1/1-Elliot Williams on NBA Hoops 12-13 card
2/2 Lavoy Allen on 2 NBA Hoops 12-13 cards, one Rookie Impact, one base.
2/2 Spencer Hawes on 2 NBA Hoops 12-13 cards.
2/2 Arnett Moultrie on 1 NBA Hoops 13-14 card & Game used towel
2/2 Thaddeus Young on Panini Prestige 13-14 card & Game used towel.
1/1 Evan Turner on Panini Prestige 13-14 card
1/1 Michael Carter-Williams on NBA Hoops 13-14 Rookie

Caught at the game: 2 game used towel (one of which signed by both Moultrie & Young), and a game used headband by Brandon Davies...which was gross but then again I had a towel to wrap it in for the moment. Awesome success overall.

TTM update today. Really haven't sent out many TTMs lately and its a shame cause I miss getting frequent items in the mail. That will all be changing shortly though as TTM season is quickly coming upon us. I am eager for Spring Training and already have 65 prepped letters for players, and also some spare letters designated for the NBA and other areas.

For today though, 1 new auto.

1/1 Brady Quinn- It's interesting to note that on the card of his I got back, he personalized the autograph...to my last name. Which is cool, I still have a new addition, but I've never seen any player address something to somebody's last name before.

    Another TTM update

1/1 Jim Bunning on 13 Allen & Ginter card.

Upcoming events for the following week...honestly, they are stacked. There are three games that the Cavaliers will be home, two guaranteed to be going to. Not only this, but WWE is in town, Tribefest is around the corner (unsure if I will attend), and to top it all off Canton OH will be having a show with 2x Cy Young Winner Dennis McLain. Expect some good stuff soon...Fingers crossed of course!
