Yeah... Its great you live near a couple Minor League venues, I live 30 minutes from New Hampshire Fisher Cats AA (Jays) and Lowell Spinners A (Red Sox)- love them both and both teams are great signers... I really want to get Xander Bogaerts who is in the Eastern league with the Jays- he is my top priority this year... Machado was last year but he didnt sign :( I am also looking to get Anthony Rendon as some point this year... but I only graph near the dugout before the game so sometimes the big names skip over us... but I always get a great haul doing that- Bri

Wow Wow Wow is all I can say after tonight's Timberwolves game. As you all know JJ Barea is my favorite player. He did not sign outside tonight but inside he was so sweet. He signed my photo and I asked him if I could get his shoes after the game. He looked down, smiled, and said yeah I can give you these. I asked him inside or outside and he said I'll give you to them in here just stand in the back corner of the line by their locker room. Well after the game was interesting. There were a group of black men in their late 20s. First Alexey Shved walked in off the court and the guy yelled "you f*ing sucked tonight. You should ride the bench." Shved didn't react but as soon as he was out of ear shot of them, which was right in front of me, he turned his head slightly and said "f*ck you" under his breath. Then Greg Stiemsma came in and the guy leaned over the rope, pointed his finger in Steimsma's face and said "you f*ing sucked tonight. You're nothing but a f*ing benchwarmer." Stiemsma did react and turned around and yelled "what'd you say to me" and "Shut your f*ing mouth." Stiemsma had to be escorted back to the locker room by coaches and security escorted the fan out. He was way out of line. Well, while Stiemsma is leaving, here comes JJ Barea. I yell his name and he immediately sees me. He came right over and bent down and started untying his shoe. He handed me one. There were a ton of fans around me grabbing for it so he made sure I had a good hold on it before letting go. He then bent down and untied his second shoe. As he was handing me the second, there were even more fans grabbing more aggressively, because they didn't think I needed the set. Barea handed it to me again, made sure I had it, and then glared at the people around me trying to get it. I had a huge smile on my face and said thanks and he smiled and winked at me then left for the locker room. Here they are!!!

Barea wasn't the only one who was amazing tonight. Overall the Wolves signed very well tonight!

That is awesome that he gave you his shoes. JJ seems to be a class act. Its shame though that some people have to go out of there way to insult the players the way they do. Its a game and the players are just human like everybody else.

JJ is definitely a class act! and yeah everyone seems to forget that these athletes are just regular people who happen to be really good at a specific sport. I was shocked that guy said that stuff
