I made my own template and just tinker around with the images and the effects until I get them how I like

I returned home to Minneapolis yesterday to find an overflowing mailbox. Unfortunately 90% of the mail was cards I'd ordered on ebay but I still had a nice number of returns waiting for me. For my record keeping purposes I'm just going to say all came in on 12/31
Chris Johnson: 3/3
Out: 11/16 In: 12/31
Jenny Mensing: 1/0Forgot I sent an email to the German swimmer until I opened it and found this nice autographed card. I believe the email was sent back in September when I first moved in and couldn't afford to send out requests so sent a bunch of email requestsMicky Ward: 1/1
Out: 12/10 In: 12/31
Chandler Harnish: 3/3
Out: 12/10 In: 12/31
Jameson Taillon: 3/3 c/o home
Out: 10/12 In: 12/31
Matt Downs: 2/2
Out: 12/10 In: 12/31
Looks like he used one of those metallic type ink pens where the ink runs. Didn't turn out well at all. I will retry him at Spring Training
Kaleb Cowart: 1/1 c/o home
Out: 10/22 In: 12/31
Dallas Clark: 2/4
Out: 12/20 In: 12/31
Super fast return!
Kirk Cousins: 4/4

Today I received my first autographs of 2013. I am trying to get 2,013 autographs in 2013-combining TTM and IP. I haven't figured out my goals yet for IP & TTM but plan on doing that now that I have opened all of my mail from being away for the holidays. Right now my goal is to get 150 Pat Neshek autographs since I purchased a 119 card lot of his on ebay in September and still have about 100 to get signed. I always want to get 75 JJ Barea autographs. Seeing as I get about 3 per game I don't think this will be a problem.
So my first autograph of 2013 is....
Adam Greenberg: 4/4 c/o home
Out: 11/16 In: 1/2
I love this return!! He is such an inspiration to me because I was watching that game where he got hit in the head and for him to keep persevering to make a comeback is admirable. I always cheer for athletes trying to make a comeback from concussions because I have dealt with post-concussion symptoms on many occasions. I was very excited to see him get a chance with the Orioles for this coming season!

As always, great stuff... I really like the Cowart and Taillons from their home addresses. Is Taillon personalizing everything now or did you request it to be personalized?

No returns today but I finally sat down to tally up my 2012 totals and set my 2013 goals in finer detail
2012 Totals:
TTM: 464
IP: 883
Ebay Pickups: 27
JJ Barea Autographs: 21
Total: 1,374
2013 Goals:
Total: 2,013, after tallying up my 2012 total this may be a bit lofty. However, since 2012 was my first year I was able to learn better techniques that will definitely help me in 2013! Also, it wasn't until about mid-June that I switched to doing mostly cards instead of 8x10s so that will definitely help!
TTM: 800
IP: 1,200
JJ Barea Autographs: 50
I will tally up my totals on July 1 and if I don't think I can make my goal after halfway through 2013 I will definitely amend this list

Great goals, yeah cards are not as expensive to send as 8x10s thats why I do a nice mix of small photos and card and they display just as nice. I have a stack of about 30 envelopes, letters, and items to send already to ST/Minor leagues and have been really working on them. Im going to tone it down for NBA/NFL/and home addys and save my stamps for baseball. I think I have one more roll of stamps for home addresses/NBA and I will call it a year on those. Brian

This morning I walked down to the Target Center to graph the Wolves before and after shootaround. I wasn't sure what time to go so I was there by 8am. By 9am I was leaving because I felt like I was about to die from the cold, no joke! Well I'm walking up the street where all the players cars come from and I see one of the practice coaches drive by. So I went into the skyway and took my time walking back so I could warm up. When I got back to the garage door, 3 regulars were there who are fun to talk to so I was relieved. Soon after the players started trickling in.
JJ Barea: 2/2, 16x20s
So excited to get these signed. I have 4 more JJ 16x20s to get signed tonight before the game. I told him I hoped the trade rumors around him weren't true. He laughed and said they're always going-meaning always rumors swirling
Chase Budinger: 6/6, 5/5 8x10s, 1/1 16x20
Got the 16x20 signed before shootaround and the 8x10s after. One of the guys there got 3 8x10s signed for me.
Ricky Rubio: 2/2, 1/1 16x20, 1/1 8x10
Nikola Pekovic: 2/2 8x10s
Andrei Kirilenko: 1/1 basketball
This turned out amazing with his full signature!
Dante Cunningham: 1/1
Alexey Shved: 4/4
He was so cool!! The regular guy there with his 2 sons is buddies with him and got his shoes after a recent game. He was more than happy to sign for us and the 2 of them chatted it up.
Team Sheet: Added new Wolves player Lazar Hayward
Derrick Williams: 1/1
My hands were so cold I could barely grip the Sharpie so I couldn't ask for multiples

What a fantastic day! If that bottom Shved 8x10 is for trade, shoot me a PM..I've only got one of him in his Russian uniform in my collection and would love a Wolves photo.
