We're now taking signups for SCF Fantasy Baseball League to be played on mlb.com. This will be a head-to-head league (12 teams). Live online draft will tentatively take place Saturday March 19 at 5:00 pm EST (2:00 pm Pacific). I've also started a thread taking signups for a points fantasy league (to be played on yahoo.com). ~~Please sign up for only one league or the other.~~ If you would like to be in a second SCF league, just let me know what format you prefer and I may start a 3rd fantasy league if there is enough interest. I will try to see about awarding a card to each league champion but not promising that yet. However, I will award the top four teams in each league some cardcash (amounts and criteria to be determined later).

PM your email address to me so that I can send an official league invite. Do not post your email address here (spambots will harvest it and send spam if you post your email address in public). I will try to send out the invitation within 24 hours of your PM.

When choosing your team name, keep it clean and try to use your SCF user name or a form of it in your team name. For instance, my team's name is "Single's Hitters". Post here when you have officially joined the league and your team's name. On draft day, arrive early and observe all SCF rules while in the draft room. Let's keep it friendly and fun! Even if you can't attend the draft, you can assure yourself a good draft if you set your pre-draft rankings beforehand.

Prizes: I will be awarding CardCash to each of the four teams that make the playoffs. I'm making myself ineligible to receive CardCash in this league. So if I make the playoffs, the best team that doesn't make the playoffs (but would have) will get CardCash. CardCash will be distributed based on playoff results. 2nd Runner-ups (the other two playoff teams): 300 cc each
Best team to not make the playoffs: 75 cc

League Regular Season ends: September 11, 2011
League Playoffs run: 2 weeks starting September 12, 2011 (the Monday following the end of the League Regular Season)
Playoff Teams:

2 Division Winners: Teams with the best W-L record in each division
2 Wild Card Winners: Teams with the best records that did NOT win their divisions. These teams can come from the same division or different divisions.

Each week you must set your starting lineup. For each player on your roster, you will have until five (5) minutes prior to the start of each player's first MLB game being played each week to place each player into your starting lineup for that week.
