Canadian Pacific small cream or water pitcher. Pretty sure it' a CP Rail, but it could be CP Airways or Hotels.

    GREAT topic!

I yard sale EVERY WEEKEND (winter as well!)

I have started my own side business "From Trash To Treasure"

Easily my best find was a hand signed Norman Rockwell framed picture. Picked it up for $75.00 Turned it for $500!

Some great things to look for to turn for quick profit is LEGO'S especially the minifigures. Lego retires sets, so once retired collectors go crazy for the figures, and they can be bought in bulk at most yard sales. My 9yr old son is a "lego expert" he helps me match all the right pices up, and he gets to keep all the pieces, and i sell the minifigs.

Also camera equipment (film especially) becuase most college/ high school students still have to learn how to use film so they need the old bodies, and lenses, and have to go to the secondary market to buy it. Most people give this stuff away because digital rules right now.

I have tons more, but dont want to hijack your thread.

By all means, hijack. As long as it's on the topic of garage sailing, that's pretty much what this is for.

dont know if this is "legal" to do but check out my facebook page. From Trash To Treasure (352? likes)

I post my weekly finds there.

I also found some comic book pages that were proofs for a comic called Miracle Man from the UK bought all 12 pages for $1!
    Sold them all for $901!!!

Also any camping gear you can get also sells very well especally Coleman stuff. The older propane stoves and GAS lanterns are VERY collectible!

Coleman also dates almost all of their items so its very easy to tell when they were made!

This is going to be my new favorite post!

Love the Popeye. Got a picture of the socket set?
I'll get a few pics up myself in a bit.

not yet, but thought maybe you could help me identify. your posts made me grab it and toss it into the bundle. I'll get a shot tonight. It has a label on top but can't make out much of it at all.

That Popeye is a great piece. It is great you have folks putting stuff aside for you.I try to make connections like that and get lucky at on of my regular auctions

it definitely is great when people hold stuff back. These guys are pretty new to indy but seem to get quite a few sales. We've gotten some great deals from them.
