Looking for Ideas for Playoff Hockey Pools.
Hey guys,I've been running Hockey Pools for years and always using the same formula,a snake draft, pick up and then reverse the picks and drop the last player with the lowest pts at the end of the draft. I'm looking for other ideas on how to run it.I usually run a couple of them and they consist of 11 to 14 guys. If you have any ideas on cool drafts that would be great. Thanks.

It's not quite the same but what a friend of mine does for his football playoff pool is you pick one player from each playoff team, to fill a number of positions like a fantasy roster. Then, once you pick those players, they're locked in for the whole postseason so it forces you to try and pick players at important positions that will go far in the playoffs. He then assigns values for touchdowns, receptions, etc. I know it isn't what you're really looking for but I think that it's a great idea and you could adapt it to hockey and assign values for goals, assists, plus/minus, saves, etc.
