People need to be educated on these types of things so they can tell when the President and Congress are fooling them.

People need to be educated on these types of things so they can tell when the President and Congress are BSing them.

This type of rhetoric has been going on for years. The financial services industry gets WAY more beneficial treatment than the oil companies ever have. But the way things work out, is that oil companies are more easily perceived as being the enemy. They have things that are legitimately their fault (oil spills), and they deserve blame for them. However, people see gas prices go up, and they assume that it's those greedy oil companies, when that usually isn't the case.
