I don't know that much about Panetta but his boss isn't going anywhere. Too bad that previous guy didn't get internationl permission before he started his wasteful and unneccessary Iraq war.

You may want to re-visit that video. He clearly states, that in matters of NATIONAL DEFENSE, the President has the power under the Constitution to take any actions needed to DEFEND the country. His talk regarding an "international legal basis" being wanted relates to other operations.

He referred to the Libyan operation as an operation of national defense.

Dude, seriously, you need to be able to have a converstaion with out falling back to the "Bush did it" defense.

We get it. In your eyes Obama is the perfection of infallible humanity. He pees wine, poops gold and sweats diamonds. When he speaks all you hear is trumpets and angels singing. I'm just going with the flow. Everyone wants to blame President Obama and his wife from everything the Kennedy assisination to the crucification of Christ why can bush get some of the love too? Seriously though the guy suggested that the president (currently obama but last time I checked all presidents must follow the same laws) should get international approval before starting a war, so it would apply to gwb if he was in the seat as well. Mabey if bush would have had to get international permission before starting a wasteful and illegal war in iraq we might not have been in some of the mess that we are in now.
