1980 Topps Baskeball Larry Bird, Magic and Dr. J

Recently saw this card at a local shop priced for $225. I have always admired this card and want to know what you guys think of the price?

I have seen many different prices for this card and it seemed like it was in very good condition. I'd love to hear your input

    Thanks!

I deal with a lot of graded cards.By that picture,I would put it in a 6,possibly a 7 range grade.I personally own that card and sent it in to PSA and received a 6.I wouldn't sell mine for 225.00 so I'd say you did pretty good. I personally might have tried to talk the dealer down to around 200.00 since a graded 8 goes for 265.00 but nonetheless,it is a great card. ~~Dave C.

thanks for your input!! that actually isn't the card itself, that card is still at the store. I was going to trade some of my high end baseball cards for it but the guy wanted to wait for the manager to make the deal so I have to go back. I was thinking about just purchasing the card, which is in better condition that that card.

I am hoping to talk him down so is $200 or maybe lower a good price on it?

If you really think the card is better than the pictured one.The 225.00 price would be decent. Most LCS prices aren't written in stone.I would definately try to get it for 200.00.If the dealer isn't budging and you have trade bait he'll accept,I'd do it for 225.00 Its just a hard card to pass up ~~Dave C.
