View my store Beta3-2 loss agains the Tigers. Pretty good game to start the season and the Red Sox are looking better than I expected agains a team that is clearly the one to beat in the American League.

View my store BetaThe game today was terrible. I've been a fan too long to not be able to handle seeing them lose, but they were just taken out back & whipped all the way around. Only 2 runners even made it into scoring position all day & none after the 3rd inning. Beckett tied up his worst outing for giving up homers put the game way out of reach. Although, it wouldn't have mattered much with the ineffectiveness of the bullpen or the poor defensive play resulting in 2 errors. About the only bright spot so far has been the unexpected play of Sweeney. So far the kid is thriving in a Red Sox uniform!
